CURIOSITIES: Islam and Democracy

There is a fundamental incompatibility between Islam and democracy: even if their sacred book says otherwise, as some want to defend, it is well known that their religion incites violation of basic human rights of women, so that their religion must be labeled as criminal in democracy and therefore we can't really have Islamic establishments or people being accepted in democratic countries ever.

I found at least two women incarcerated at their own homes in Australia when fundraising less than ten years ago. They were both Islamic, different houses, one in each, and said the husband left the house with the keys and they didn't have a copy of those and therefore could not open the door to me. I then asked if they wanted me to call the police. Their answer is no, both cases. I theorize it is because of several reasons, one of them being that the husband may retaliate or even his acquaintances. The fact that they explain to me why they cannot open the door and come to talk with me 'as they can' has to mean they are not really accepting that, I reckon.
